6m Buddy

The New Year saw delivery of a 6m Buddy small general purpose workhorse for Associated British Ports, Grimsby, UK.

The versatile pontoon craft is used for a wide variety of harbour support operations within Grimsby and Immingham Docks, including marine debris collection, cargo carrying and oil spill response. She is easily towed between sites on a purpose-built trailer with launch and recovery facility.

Named 'Sea Eagle' she has a customised heavy duty 5 inch fender arrangement and a drop down ladder for dive support. She measures 6m x 2.3m and is fitted with a Yamaha 25hp high thrust outboard with dual thrust propeller for manoeuvrability.
